High-quality pine blocks, with precision cut axle slots or precision drilled axle holes.
- Blocks with Standard Axle Slots are cut to Cub Scout/BSA pinewood derby specifications.
- Block with Standard Axle Holes or Extended Axle Holes are drilled to accept Cub Scout/BSA axles, and one front axle hole is drilled higher so that the car runs on three wheels (best performance). Blocks with all four wheels on the ground are available by adding option 9000 to the shopping cart.

Save time and minimize tool investment! These pinewood derby car kits are based on winning designs and are set-up to accept the maximum weight at the proper weight position. They are cut from a precision block (described above) and then pre-cut and drilled per the selected design. The car body is then packaged with the required weight (except Wedge Kits) and detailed instructions.

- Kits with Standard Axle Holes or Extended Axle Holes are drilled to accept Cub Scout/BSA axles, and one front axle hole is drilled higher so that the car runs on three wheels (best performance). If you are selecting a kit with axle holes, and if your rules require all 4 wheels to be on the ground, then in addition to the kit you will need to select Option 9000. Kits with Standard Axle Slots have 4 wheels on the ground.
- Check your local rules regarding wheelbase and axle mounting restrictions. Kits with Standard Axle Slots match the official Cub Scout/BSA kit. Kits with Standard Axle Holes or Extended Axle Holes may or may not be allowed in your race.

Create a super fast, propeller assisted pinewood derby car for an outlaw race or just for fun! This kit uses a ducted fan to provide additional propulsion. On a typical track, it will generally beat a standard, gravity-powered car by 8 feet or more.
Important - Read Before Ordering
- This kit is equipped with axle holes which are drilled to accept Cub Scout/BSA axles, and all four wheels will run on the ground. If you wish to use Awana axles, or other larger axles, then in addition to the kit you will need to select Option 9002.
- Wheels and axles are not included in the kit. Any pinewood derby wheels can be used, but for best speed we recommend our 4040-Outlaw Wheels & Nickel Speed Axles. Wheels and axles can be found Here

- Decals and paint are not included in the kit. Decals can be found Here
- The following tools and supplies are needed to complete this kit:
- Tools: small flat-blade screwdriver, pliers, and strong scissors
- Supplies: 9 volt battery, white glue, wheels & axles, lubricant for wheels, and optional finishing supplies (paint, sandpaper, etc.).

IMPORTANT NOTE: The following three options apply to pinewood derby blocks and kits equipped with Standard Axle Holes or Extended Axle Holes. They DO NOT apply to blocks and kits equipped with Standard Axle Slots, or to the SuperCar Kits below.

If your club or organization does not require a specific kit type, or if you dissatisfied with the kits you currently use, then consider the features of our basic car kits:
- Soft pine blocks, which accurately duplicate the dimensions of the Cub Scout/BSA block.
- Speed axles, with no burrs or crimp marks. Use them as is, or polish a little if desired. We supply five, so you have a spare.
- Top-quality, PineCar-brand wheels to give great performance
These kits make great replacements for kits with hubcaps (which tend to fall off during the race) and Awana kits (much higher quality wood block).
